SAFE-T Connect
Application field
The SYR Safe-T Connect 2421 has a leakage protection according to VP 638, which permanently monitors the installation as soon as it is activated. It fits onto any flange of the SYR flange system up to DN 32. The module can be fitted with any fitting, which can also be mounted on the flange. The Safe-T can also be used as a stand-alone version and can be controlled via the Internet.
Performance
The monitoring electronics of the Safe-T Connect allow detection of leakages. If the pre-programmed values are exceeded, the entire installation is locked. The Safe-T provides a holiday function for enhanced monitoring. The management and diagnostics system allows individual setting of all important function data.
Materials
The housing is made of high-quality, lead-acid brass alloy. The rubber parts are made of aging-resistant elastomers. Stainless steel is used for all other functional parts. All materials used comply with the recognized rules of technology. All plastic parts touched by the water comply with the KTW recommendations of the Federal Health Office.
Installation
To mount the Safe-T Connect a flange DN 20 – DN 32 from the extensive Drufi flange program is required. It can be installed either centrally behind the water metering system in the pipeline or decentrally to single strand protection. The Safe-T Connect is used as a combiner for e.g. With a Drufi or also individually.
Mounting
Before installation, thoroughly rinse the pipeline. The need for connection SYR-flange can be installed free of stress, taking into account the direction of flow in vertical and horizontal lines. All electrical connections are factory pre-assembled.
Maintenance
The Safe-T Connect allows a maintenance-free operation of the device.
